SCIENTER

Community

A Discord where the flags get argued about, an email sequence that stops after five, and two ways to tell us we are wrong.

Discord

Where the evidence gets argued with

Flags post to a channel before they reach anywhere else. Slash commands run the same lookups the site does — /wallet for a scorecard, /scienter rug-check for a token — against the same routes, so the bot and the website cannot disagree about an address.

If you have bought anything, /verify links your purchase to your Discord account and gives you the matching role. It opens a private form rather than taking your email as a visible command argument.

No invite link is configured on this deployment, so there is nothing to link to yet. The bot and its commands are wired; DISCORD_INVITE_URL is the missing piece.

How the server is structured, and how to stand one up: docs/community/discord-setup.md.

Onboarding email

Five emails over two weeks, then it stops. What the product is, how to read a scorecard, why we publish our own losses, and — twice — what paying would get you. No newsletter, no digest of things you could have read here.

Say something we can quote

Two or three sentences about what you use Scienter for and what changed. Your words go up as you wrote them — we do not tidy a quote into something better, because an edited quote is a claim we made with your name under it.

How may we attribute it?
Nothing goes live automatically.

Something wrong?

Tell us, and tell us which page

There is a Feedback tab in the bottom-left corner of every page. It captures the route you were on automatically, which is the field nobody types and the one that turns “the chart is broken” into a bug report.

It is our own form, not a vendor’s chat widget. A third-party script on a page rendering your wallet addresses and your plan would contradict the one thing this product claims about itself.

Wrong numbers are the most useful thing you can send. If a scorecard disagrees with what you know about an address, that is either a bug in our pipeline or a gap in our sources, and both are worth more to us than a feature request.

Social proof

We would rather show you the ledger than a testimonial.

These slots stay empty until there are real, attributable quotes to put in them. Until then the honest form of social proof is the record itself — including the calls that went against us.
